As usual, our team has been trawling the streets of our home city of London, looking out for interesting examples of branding, typography and logos to share with our readers around the world. We never tire of living and working in this fascinating city. And neither would it seem does Terence Conran, founder of Albion, subject of our most recent daily photo. Currently aged 84, it wasn't until recently that he handed over the running of his company to someone else. There are few people who can lay claim to having as much influence on everyday interior design in Britain and on London's restaurant scene. Before Ikea, it was Conran's Habitat interiors store that taught Britons how to have a modern home. And his Conran Restaurants brought a new kind of theatrical spectacle to dining in London in the Nineties. Bon appetit!
