Every week, our team has its eagle eyes open for examples of branding, logos and typography that we can feature across our social media accounts. We love our home city of London and have set ourselves the task this year of sharing some of the graphic design highlights that we spot on its streets every day. This week, one of our favourites was the old shop front in Fournier Street in the rapidly changing East End. This part of town had a large Jewish community in the 19th century but now, only small traces remain, such as the S. Schwartz shop sign that so wonderfully contrasts with the ever-changing posters and graffiti that sit below it. We don't know what Mr Schwartz sold but we can only hope that this small part of history can be preserved as this area of London continues to quickly gentrify.
