The story behind the Visual Identity of the Year
In 2025, Dacia took part in the legendary Dakar Rally for the very first time. For this event, 4uatre designed a multi-faceted identity that reveals all the attributes of the Dacia team: The Sandriders.
A powerful logo was designed to reflect the world of racing.
A distinctive typography was designed specifically for the team's communications. Its thickness, which conveys intensity and solidity, is balanced by its slight italics, which evoke the idea of flexibility and speed.
The call of racing is illustrated by a vibrant and multi-format pattern. It references the Dakar Rally's environment: sand, speed and thrills but also recycled materials, reflecting the brand’s cutting-edge eco-smart technology.
The identity's colours are inherited from the Dacia colour palette and combine with a dusk orange to reference nature and the racing environment.
